Montessori Method

Montessori-based Nursery School

Montessori Education is an educational method with a long history and achievements that began in 1907 with the ``Children's House`` by the Italian doctor Maria Montessori.

Montessori method values freedom with limits - follow each child’s development, interests, needs, and abilities with proper guidance – while the Japanese public education method applies standardized structure to children regardless of the difference in their interests, abilities or personal development stages.

Montessori method emphasizes independence, and views children as naturally eager for knowledge and capable of initiating learning in a sufficiently supportive and well-prepared learning environment. By providing such support and environment at the right timing for every children, we aim to support their ability to learn spontaneously and to develop them physically, socially, emotionally, and cognitively.

Based on the Montessori method, our programs consist of the following five areas.

  • Practical Life
  • Language

``Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.``
